After a 2006-2007 season that saw them named the top academic team in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics, Coach Larry Leon's Eagles repeated their performance in the classroom as four RMC golfers were named 2008 Daktronics-NAIA scholar Athletes. They were just as successful on the links, winning seven tournaments. Although the Eagles lost the services of a quartet of fine golfers--including three-time All-Region honoree Chris Myers--a core of solid veterans will be joined by some exciting new recruits as the 2008-2009 Men's Golf team tries to build on the success of past squads. |
