After spending her senior year for the Thunder Bay Queens Midget AA’s playing forward, Hope returns to defense as the Lady Eagles start their 2008 campaign. As a blueliner for the defending national champions, Hope assumes a major share of the defensive load.  She will be called on to play her regular shift as well as work the power play and the penalty kill. Hope’s talents extend beyond defense; in 2006 she scored 30 goals as a defender and was a big reason her team played for the Ontario Women's Hockey Association Provincial Championship.
