Ashley came to RMC after a career in boy’s midget hockey for the Midget A Benifait Eagles.  She posted an 18-1-0 record in 2004, and the team finished in the semifinals of the league playoffs, then reached the quarterfinals at Provincials. Miller also played three years of women’s midget hockey for the Estevan Extreme, compiling a record of 51-22-10. In 2003 she was voted to the South Central Minor Hockey League First All-Star Team.

That prep career prepared her well for intercollegiate hockey, and her freshman stats were nothing less than spectacular. Splitting the net with an All-American like Crystal Zace might intimidate some, but not “Milz."  She played in 18 games as a freshman with 13 wins 4 losses and 1 tie. Ashley posted seven shutouts and surrendered only 28 goals on 427 shots. Ashley was named to the ACHA All-Tournament Team as an Honorable Mention in 2007 and should compete for All American honors in 2008.  Ashley is a Health & Fitness major.
