Florence, Italy - Apicius Culinary Institute of Florence
Application Deadline Date: Tuesday, May 30, 2006Requirements:
- Junior level or higher
- A minimum of 3.0 GPA and good attendance
- Executive Director/Faculty recommendation
- Students applying must be Sophomores in the Institute of Culinary Arts Program
Program takes place during the Fall Quarter for ten weeks.
10 - Week Program
- Italian Language - basic Italian language
- Italian Regional Cuisine - cooking techniques that produce authentic Italian cuisine found in the many regions of Italy
- Tradition of Italian Food II - the production of many Italian foods and the styles and conventions of authentic Italian cuisine
- Externship - on-site work experience at a local Florentine restaurant
