The Career Services Office provides guidance and support to students in their efforts to achieve personal career goals in the most effective way possible. The Career Advisor assists students and alumni of MGSM regarding career planning, job search strategies, interviewing skills and resume assistance.
Students are encouraged to participate in various career activities offered through the Graduate Center to integrate with their academic experience. Professional Development Week in December features workshops and guest speakers that allow students to gain insight from some of the top executives in the Chicagoland area. Graduate students and alumni are encouraged to attend the Annual Spring Career Fair to meet recruiters from various industries seeking applicants for internships, part-time, and full-time positions. Job openings and graduate assistantships are posted in Blackboard as well as Career Connect, our job database.
