About Me

My biggest goal in life is to do the best that I can. I am proud that I have made it this far, and I plan on going even further.

Moving On
More...

Just recently I moved out of my mom’s house in Bolingbrook and moved in with a friend in Chicago. I think it’s a big step for me because I’ve been with my mom for a long time. But to me moving out has helped me grow more, and learn to do things on my own. But I can’t lie I do miss my mom from time to time. Going from seeing my mom all the time to almost every couple of days or even a week is hard.

I feel like I’ve been not allowed to do a lot of things while I was at home. I didn’t really get to go out a lot and I had a curfew. Now I can do whatever I want but still know I have school in the morning. I have a lot more responsibilities on my own. But in a way, I do appreciate how hard my mom was on me.

My mom helped me to be on time for things. Before I was beyond slow and the biggest procrastinator. She still helps me with things from time to time, but it’s not as bad as before. Being at home was fun at times but I feel like I needed to fly. Now I don’t really care about the freedom, I just like doing things on my own.

I like my mom being proud, and knowing I did it on my own is even better. I would like my mom to know that I’ll be fine but I’ll always come to her first. We still talk everyday but now she’s more relaxed because she knows that I’m fine. I guess you can say that my mom is moving on more then I am. I guess she realized I’m growing up.

Working
More...

I honestly want to get a job while I am in college, but I don’t see how people do it. I am a student athlete in both the Women’s Track and Field and the Dance team. When will I have the time for a job? I know that I can try to make time, but I guess a lot of jobs aren’t flexible. I had trouble and my last job when I was working retail because of school.

I would like a job though because I want to start doing things on my own. I want to be more independent then I am now. I have this little job at the school but I want to work outside and expand my experiences. I want to work before I start my internships and be more familiarized with the working class.  I want to be more experienced.

When I get a job that I love I am going to work my way to the top. I’m not going to just work there because it’s a place that I earn money. I’m going to make the most out of where I work. That would only be best or I would never be happy. It’s always a good idea to work your hardest. You never know what will happen because of that.

I wonder how many jobs I will have before I have the right one for me. I know I am going to continue to stay in school so that I can educate myself further. It’s always good to learn more than you already know. That way when you are looking for a job you will really know what you are talking about and have proof for it. It’s good to be able to back up what you say.

I just can’t wait to start actually working. I want to work for a purpose and enjoy what I am doing. But I know it will take time and I will work my way up that ladder.

The Best

Friends, how many of us have them, friends, the ones that we depend on, friends! Safe to say I know I will have one friend who will always be on my side and that’s my best friend. This is a person I can trust and tell anything to. I always know that they will have my back no matter what, and will be with me through anything. That person is my mother.

I honestly do not know what I would do without her. She's my support system for anything and everything. I will never find a person like her. My mom is my drive to do well in school and in life. Without her I’m nothing.

She has taught me so much and I appreciate so much now. I love my mom more than anything in the world. Even though sometimes we bump heads, she will always be my right hand and bff. Sometimes I have to take a step back and look how lucky I am to have such a great relationship with her. She’s a great mother and everyone should have a mother like her in their corner. Thanks mom, for everything!
