I honestly want to get a job while I am in college, but I donít see how people do it. I am a student athlete in both the Womenís Track and Field and the Dance team. When will I have the time for a job? I know that I can try to make time, but I guess a lot of jobs arenít flexible. I had trouble and my last job when I was working retail because of school.
I would like a job though because I want to start doing things on my own. I want to be more independent then I am now. I have this little job at the school but I want to work outside and expand my experiences. I want to work before I start my internships and be more familiarized with the working class. I want to be more experienced.
When I get a job that I love I am going to work my way to the top. Iím not going to just work there because itís a place that I earn money. Iím going to make the most out of where I work. That would only be best or I would never be happy. Itís always a good idea to work your hardest. You never know what will happen because of that.
I wonder how many jobs I will have before I have the right one for me. I know I am going to continue to stay in school so that I can educate myself further. Itís always good to learn more than you already know. That way when you are looking for a job you will really know what you are talking about and have proof for it. Itís good to be able to back up what you say.
I just canít wait to start actually working. I want to work for a purpose and enjoy what I am doing. But I know it will take time and I will work my way up that ladder.

I am so excited for thanksgiving this year. I always love to see my family and be with them for a whole day full of fun. This year is going to be a little different though. A lot has changed and a lot of it was for the better and other things not so much. But on a more positive note I am going to be in the Thanksgiving parade with my dance Team. I am extremely excited seeing as this is my first time doing something like this.
Besides the parade I am going to see all my family, even the ones who donít stay in Chicago. Seeing family who has been gone for a while is always nice. One of them is in the Navy and itís always nice to see him come home safely. Family means a great deal to me and without them I would be nothing. Whatís a thanksgiving without family?
This will also be my bunny, Oreoís first thanksgiving with everybody. He really is a part of the family and not just a pet. I weird how we went from not having a pet for 18 years then all of a sudden he just pops up in our life. He is a great addition to the family and everybody loves him. Plus he really knows how to eat so I know heíll enjoy thanksgiving as well.
Although all these great things are happening, Iím not looking forward to after that week. Iím not looking forward to week ten and then starting all over again the week after. I wish we had longer breaks to just hang and be with our families. Iíve been in school nonstop since last September; I think itís time for a break. But overall Iím excited for Thanksgiving and what the rest of the year has in store.

My life without the NBA is hell. I am a huge basketball fan; basketball is still my life even though I don't play anymore. Not being able to watch this season is affecting me drastically. I have nothing to watch basically. I like football, but I don't love it and any other sport bores me.
I think that this whole lock out is stupid. It's not the player's fault that they are good at what they do. If you're good at it you should get paid for it. It's not fair that the WNBA gets to continue when nobody even watches them, I know I don't. One player that they can take out of the league is Kobe, but that's a whole different subject.
I've been waiting for this season to start so that my team, Miami Heat, can make a comeback from last year. They need to just let them play, who cares how much they get paid. I love the competition, and the entertainment. I think I will go on strike because I am very passionate about this subject. I think they are just mad and did this on purpose.
All I know is that they better bring the NBA back or else! I don't really know what else but I just felt like saying that. Please, NO MORE lock out!
