The Board of Trustees recognized various students and faculty for their significant efforts and contributions to education at Robert Morris University.
- Dr. Denise Gray, Selina Garcia, Nicole Rodiek, Rouen Fajutrao and Kimberly Kuta-Edmonds represented the RMU Nursing Program as they attended the 19th Annual ANA-Illinois’ Student Nurse Political Action Day in Springfield Illinois. The students participated in a poster contest and were awarded first prize.
- Dr. Shashank Atre, Mick McMahon and Paul Gaszak wrote the proposal, “Experience-ased Learning through a City-centric Curriculum and presented at the 2017 Conference on Higher Education Pedagogy.
- Students Andres Balladares, Brandon Perez and Catarina Maiolo created a professional video under the direction of Dr. Mei Fen Chen. The video provides an overview of Experienced-Based Learning (EBL) at RMU.
- Graduate students Theresa Flores, Malika Stevenson, Lissette Tenorio, Mia Townsell and Tyler Warder participated in the GLO-BUS competition through their capstone graduate program class with Dr. Ray Patel. The group placed first in the competition which included over 270 teams from across the country.
