April is jam packed with plenty of performances, brought to you by the Robert Morris University Preforming Arts! All events are FREE and open to both RMU and guests. Let’s take a look at the many ways you can watch live entertainment this spring!

Our Jazz Band is starting us off with their final Jazz Café of the season on Thursday, April 5th at 4:00PM, in the State Street Gallery.

Following that will be our Show choir performing their last concert as a part of the State St Gallery Performance Series. This performance takes place on Wednesday, April 11th at 2:30PM.

The Eagle Players will also be opening their spring theater production of, The Brothers Grimm Spectaculathon on Wednesday, April 11th at 7:00PM in the Chicago Auditorium (Room 803). There are two more performances as well on Thursday, April 12th at 2:30 & 7:00PM.

Closing out Performing Arts for the season will be the culmination of all of the music groups performing their Spring Showcase. This includes RMU’s Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band, Color Guard, Show choir, String Ensemble and Percussion Ensemble. The concert will be held on Thursday, April 12th at 7:00PM in the RMU Athletic and Convocation Center in Arlington Heights.

Last, and certainly not least, The Endangered Speeches, RMU’s very own improv group, will be taking the stage one more time this season on Tuesday, April 17th at 2:30PM, in the State St Gallery!
