RMU students successfully completed the 2018 International Design-Centric Business Model workshop hosted by Ming Ching University of Technology in Taiwan. As part of the RMU Study Abroad Asia programs, this workshop is a collaboration between Robert Morris University Illinois (RMU), Berufliche Schule ITECH Elbinsel Wilhelmsburg (Germany), and Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), Taiwan. The strengths and expertise of the parties provide the best international, cross-disciplinary educational experience. The objective of this course is to promote and integrate design thinking and entrepreneurial spirit into innovative business models. This year, student groups were required to imitate a startup company model to deliver “A Greater Taipei Travel Experience”. RMU’s Valeria Lopez and her team won 2nd place in the competition.
Through friendship building, cultural exchange and communication challenge, global education is one way that students gained perspectives about the changing world, its people, and the perfect opportunities for pathways of international experiences!
