Robert Morris University’s Center for Professional Advancement hosted another successful Professional Development Week March 18-21, 2019.  The week began with a presentation, How to Succeed at a Career Fair, by Michael Rodriguez from the Association of Latino Professionals for America. On Tuesday, RMU alumnus, Anthony Lighthall, shared his expertise in HR and presented a resume workshop. On Wednesday, alumni Tom Super, J .Vincent Williams, and Jacqueline Quinonez shared their stories and encouraged students during a panel discussion focused on Selling Yourself on Your First Job.  The week closed with a presentation from RMU alumnus, Samuel Garcia.  Mr. Garcia works for LinkedIn and presented How to use LinkedIn for your Job Search.

RMU students and alumni also had the opportunity to participate in mock interviews, receive one-on-one resume help, and take professional head shots for their Handshake and LinkedIn profiles.

Thank you to all of our alumni and guests for participating.  Please join us at our Annual Spring Career Fair on Wednesday, April 10 at 10 a.m. at RMU’s Chicago campus.
