Introduction and Experiential Networking
A brief introduction to the day followed by an activity allowing participants to meet, learn about their roles in experiential education, and begin creating networks/connections.

Utilizing Experiential Methods in Professional Development
The principles and practices of experiential learning can also be applied outside the classroom in professional development opportunities, including faculty/staff development, employee onboarding, and more. This session will discuss some examples and provide attendees an opportunity to develop ideas that could be employed within their institution/organization.

Best Practices in Active Learning
Participants will engage in an activity to brainstorm and share best practices in active learning that can be applied across multiple levels of education, professional development, and more.

Reflections
Three moderated reflection opportunities will be provided throughout the day for attendees to cogitate on the outcomes and takeaways of activities and discussions, continue conversations from previous sessions, and make further connections with other attendees.

Attendee Forums
These breakout sessions will provide attendees the chance to delve further into areas and topics of interest that are brainstormed pre-conference and during the Experiential Networking session earlier in the day.

Growth Mindset with Embarc Co-Founder January Miller
Embarc believes in changing experiences to change outcomes – not just for our students but for everyone with whom they come in contact.  This workshop will be an interactive way to shift mindsets about what an experience is and how to make engaging opportunities part of daily life.

“The City is Our Campus”
Through examples and activities, attendees will discover creative ways to utilize the area(s) surrounding their school, university, company, or organization to create or enhance active and experiential learning opportunities.

Dinner
All attendees are invited to an optional dinner at a nearby restaurant. The price of dinner is not included in the registration fee.
