Both Our Nursing Program and Health Studies Program Offer Students a Comprehensive Education   

If you are looking for an accredited nursing degree in Chicago or a specialized health studies degree in Chicago, Robert Morris University Illinois offers multiple options for students interested in a health-related career. Offering both associate degree and bachelor degree options, each member of the College of Nursing and Health Studies program plays an integral part in achieving the mission and purposes of the University. The key to our success as a team is our commitment to each student and to each other. Both the nursing program and health studies program provide students with personalized attention, opportunities for personal and professional growth, and cultural and educational experiences that prepare them for a career in health care. The faculty help students understand their ethical, moral, and personal responsibilities as practitioners in the challenging and demanding field of health care.

With Robert Morris University’s College of Nursing and Health Studies located conveniently in the heart of downtown Chicago, students will find themselves at the center of the area’s business district and within 12 miles from nine of the U.S. News & World Report “Best Regional Hospitals.” In addition, RMU offers both accelerated degree options and multiple dual degree options in many of our programs which will save students both time and money.

RMU Bachelor of Science Nursing Degree in Chicago 

Offering a well-respected nursing degree in Illinois, Robert Morris University will prepare students for professional careers in the Healthcare field as Registered Nurses (RN). The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) accredited nursing program combines liberal arts and career management with nursing classes. Additionally, students will be a part of RMU’s nursing support center which includes academic and career test prep support incorporated in the coursework.

Robert Morris is committed to providing its students with a comprehensive education that will prepare them for a future career. By utilizing experience-based learning in all the College of Nursing and Health Studies programs, students will supplement their classroom academics with real-world experience, professional guest lectures, clinical rotations, outside internships and integration projects.

Robert Morris University Offers a wide range of health studies that equip students with the tools needed for a successful career in the field. The health studies program is taught by industry experts who bring their knowledge and experience to the classroom in order to help students develop their skills. Students will utilize our human performance lab, culinary kitchens, fitness center, athletic facilities and training rooms as a part of their health education.
